Analysis: The Sun Devils are burning through candidates after being on the cusp of hiring SMU's June Jones. The job would seem to be attractive, but the Sun Devils are having a tough time filling the spot. |

Analysis: Harris has played sparingly this season in-between suspensions for various offenses. Apparently, the issues were just too many for coach Chip Kelly and his staff. |

Garrick McGee named new boss at UABNews: Garrick McGee will be the next football coach at UAB. McGee is the former Arkansas offensive coordinator. Analysis: McGee's offenses have been potent, so this is good fantasy news for UAB players starting in 2012. |

Tulane close to naming new coach?News: Tulane is expected to announce that Curtis Johnson, the Saints WR coach, will be named the next head coach. Analysis: Johnson was an assistant at the University of Miami when the Hurricanes made nine bowl appearances and won the 2001 national championship. He has a tall challenge ahead of him rebuilding the program. |

Kentucky short two defendersNews: Kentucky will be without linebacker Ridge Wilson (shoulder) and defensive back Martavius Neloms (ankle) when they take on Tennessee on Saturday. Both are key starters for the Wildcats. Analysis: This certainly doesn't hurt the fantasy value of Tennessee receiver Da'Rick Rogers, running back Tauren Poole or quarterback Tyler Bray. |

B.J. Daniels questionable vs. LouisvilleNews: South Florida quarterback B.J. Daniels' MRI revealed a bruised AC joint in right (throwing) shoulder. His availability for this week's game against Louisville is up in the air. Daniels did not practice on Tuesday. Analysis: If Daniels is unable to play, Bobby Eveld, will take over. Eveld is no stranger to filling in for Daniels, but he's certainly not as much of an offensive threat as B.J. |
