Given the issues the offense had on Saturday, there are only two sure plays for UConn: tight end Ryan Griffin and the defense/special teams. Kicker Dave Teggart could also qualify provided he get opportunities to score points. (Updated 09/11/2011).

Kyle Orton moved Denver from its 2 to the end zone to tie it Sunday, then Matt Prater kicked a 41-yard field goal in overtime for a 20-17 victory over New England that made rookie Broncos coach Josh McDaniels a winner over his old boss, Bill Belichick.
The Huskies have some impressive players to replace, in addition to defensive coordinator Hank Hughes. But LB Sio Moore, who did a very good job last season, is back in addition to lineman Kendall Reyes. But the key will be a secondary that's more experienced. If they can hold their own against the pass the Huskies can be a solid unit. (Updated 8/31/11)
