Fresno State's defense tends to give up some points, but they force a lot of turnovers. They tied a school record this week by turning three of those turnovers into touchdowns. The Bulldogs' have a bye next week, so look for another defense to fill in.

| Fresno State has had some of the nation's worst defenses the last two years, but they could improve a fair amount with new coach Tim DeRuyter taking over. DeRuyter engineered some highly successful pass rushes at Texas A&M, making Fresno an interesting DST gamble in MWC-only leagues. (Updated 8/30/12) |
