Washington Defense Stuns Stanford: Washington's defense played one of its best games in recent memory Thursday night as the Huskies upset Stanford 17-13 at home in Seattle, holding the Cardinal to 235 yards of total offense and lead tailback Stefan Taylor to 75 yards on 21 carries.

Fantasy Analysis
If new defensive coordinator for the Huskies, Justin Wilcox, was looking to make a name for himself in Washington's first conference game of 2012, then he certainly succeeded Thursday night, completely shutting down an excellent Stanford rushing attack and successfully rattling Cardinal quarterback Josh Nunes on throws downfield. All said and done, Washington surrendered the fewest yards since facing Nebraska in the 2010 Holiday Bowl and left Stanford not having scored an offensive touchdown in a game for the first time since 2007.
