| Fantasy Analysis |
Johnathan Franklin gained 12 yards on his first carry of Thursday's game, but was otherwise held to his lowest overall rushing production of 2012 by a stunning Baylor defense that contained the Bruins to just 33 yards on 28 carries. Franklin finishes his senior year in Los Angeles having totaled 1734 yards and 13 touchdowns on the ground. (Updated 12/29/12). |
| Despite facing stacked defensive fronts at UCLA, Johnathan Franklin has consistently displayed standout explosiveness and elusiveness, bolting for 2,103 yards (5.5 YPC) and 13 touchdowns the last two years even as he lost 234 carries to Derrick Coleman. Coleman is headed to the NFL, though, so Franklin should be in for a career year. Coleman had 765 yards and 11 touchdowns in 2011, so 1,200 yards and 10 touchdowns should be well within reach for Franklin. (Updated 8/30/12) |
