| Fantasy Analysis |
After only scoring three touchdowns last season, this is exactly the sort of start Luke Willson needs for 2012, if he is to be amongst the top fantasy TEs in the nation. Next week at Kansas, expect more yards for Willson and the entire Rice offense. In 2011 the Jayhawks were the worst defense in the nation. (Updated 8/31/12). |
| Luke Willson is capable of producing as one of the nation's top fantasy tight ends as he has 61 catches over the last two years despite playing in weak passing offenses. The problem is that there's not really any reason to believe that the Rice passing game will be any better in 2012, so Willson's total of 29 catches for 313 yards and three scores from last year might be similar to what he posts in 2012. He is nonetheless a justifiable bench pick in most formats. (Updated 7/24/12) |
