TCU's James Lost for Season: Waymon James will be sidelined for the remainder of the season due to an injury to his knee suffered this past weekend against Kansas, ESPN's Joe Schad reports.

No other information on the seriousness of the knee injury at this point, but it in any case deprives TCU of its best playmaker on offense. Matthew Tucker should be owned in most formats in light of Waymon James' absence.

| Waymon James is a 5-foot-8, 203-pound bowling ball with a career average of 6.9 yards per carry, albeit on just 225 carries heading into his senior year. He is coming back from a knee injury that ended his 2012 season in September, and if healthy, he figures to provide the "smash" in a smash-and-dash backfield alongside B.J. Catalon and/or Aaron Green. While James is probably the most likely among TCU's backs to emerge as a workhorse, head coach Gary Patterson has a history dividing the workload. (Updated 6/11/13) |
