| Fantasy Analysis |
Knile Davis' season was a disaster of jaw-dropping proportions, as he finishes with just 377 yards and two touchdowns rushing and 157 yards and a touchdown receiving. Formerly an elite talent, it seems that injuries have broken one or both of Davis' mind and body. (Updated 11/24/12). |
| Durability has been an issue for Knile Davis - bone breaks in particular - and it's perhaps the only reason he isn't ranked No.1 among running backs. He missed 2011 with a broken ankle, but with a size, speed and strength combination probably matched by no running back in the nation, Davis is devastating when is in on the field, as evidenced by his 1,028 yards and 12 touchdowns rushing (6.4 YPC) in seven 2010 starts. Those numbers just aren't supposed to happen in the SEC, but Davis was matchup-proof that year, pummeling Ohio State, South Carolina, LSU and Mississippi State run defenses that ranked in the top 40 for 588 yards and six touchdowns (5.4 YPC).
