Luckily for us, and those who probably played it safe with Pierce, "starter" Matt Brown went for 133 yards and two touchdowns. Next week's opponent, Kent State, ranks 20th nationally in stopping the run, giving up just 114.3 yards per game. I wouldn't let that stop you from starting Pierce to bring home your league crown.
