D.J. Beshears could be the top wide receiver for Kansas this season. His yards per catch will have to go up for him to have an impact for his owners, though.

| D.J. Beshears led the Jayhawks in receiving last year, but only hauled in 40 passes for 437 yards. His numbers will jump by switching to a more downfield passing attack under new head coach Charlie Weis, and the fact that this team will spend much of the season playing catch-up due to a less than stellar defensive unit. The arrival of Notre Dame transfer Dayne Crist at quarterback should help, too. (Updated 8/30/12) |
