Head coach Rick Stockstill said he'd have to "wait and see" if Tavarres Jefferson could return this week, so it may be best to play it safe and bench him.

| Tavarres Jefferson lacks big-play ability, but he will likely be a factor in most or all PPR formats this year. He caught 51 passes last year, and Middle Tennessee saw seven senior pass catchers leave this offseason, taking well over 100 catches with them.
