Jacob Pedersen now has six catches for 62 yards through two games, this despite quarterback Danny O'Brien averaging a paltry 6.41 yards per attempt this season. Here's to hope a pair of home nonconference outings get him back in the fold before Big Ten play commences.

| Jacob Pedersen saw his production drop slightly in 2012, but that can mainly be attributed to the revolving door at QB. If the QB position settles well, his strong skill set at the tight end position with a new offensive system could open up to an increase in catches and scoring opportunities. Pedersen is the team's best receiving option in the red zone, so the over/under on his touchdowns can probably be placed at 5.5. (Updated 6/11/13) |
