| Brian Egan barely got the opportunity to play as a sophomore in 2011, attempting one field goal and missing it while hitting three extra points in as many attempts. However, with last year's full-time kicker Derek DePasquale now graduated, Egan will have to take over kicking duties. The Mississippi State offense is fairly competent these days, as Bulldog kickers attempted 40 extra points last season. DePasquale also attempted 18 field goals - a decent figure for a college kicker. If Egan gets the same amount of opportunities, he could have value in 2012. (Updated 6/4/13) |
