Gabe Holmes had receptions of nine, 14, 12, and eight, the last one doubling as the team's sixth TD of the day. The redshirt junior entered the season with just 12 career catches for 147 yards, but it appears as is the 6-foot-5 Holmes will serve as a big body across the middle for Purdue's signal caller, which will change from Robert Marve to Caleb TerBush following the latter's suspension for the first game of the year.
