Robert Marve got the start against the Nittany Lions and then was benched in favor of Caleb TerBush. Neither quarterback has much value in any leagues. (Updated 11/4/12). |
| Robert Marve enters 2012 in a similar role to the one he held in 2011. Once again, he will be the backup to Caleb TerBush but will have chances to play throughout the season. Marve threw 109 passes last season, completing 56 percent, and averaged only 5.8 yards per passing attempt. Purdue coach Danny Hope loves using a rotation at quarterback and it seems like three players will be part of that cycle in 2012: Marve, TerBush and Rob Henry. A three-man platoon hurts the fantasy value of all three players involved, so keep an eye on how playing time is spread out between Marve, TerBush and Henry. (Updated 8/30/12) |
