| Fantasy Analysis |
This is Turner Petersen's best performance of the season by far, as he had not yet gone over 100 yards from scrimmage or scored two touchdowns in a game this season. Expect another big effort at Tulane and their 112th ranked total defense. (Updated 10/27/12). |
| Turner Petersen will need to hold off former Michigan transfer Sam McGuffie for it, but he has a good shot to win the starting running back role for Rice in 2012 after running for 485 yards (4.8 YPC) and five touchdowns last year. The Rice offense doesn't figure to be particularly good, though, so Petersen is unlikely to get many touchdown opportunities after Rice ran for just 13 scores last year. Petersen is best approached only as a late-round pick in Conference-USA-only leagues. (Updated 8/30/12) |
