USF's Battles Suspended for Opener: Bradley Battles, along with backup guard Lawrence Martin, was suspended for the opener against Chattanooga, according to Greg Auman of the Tampa Bay Times.

Bradley Battles also suffered an ankle injury in camp two weeks ago, so he was unlikely to play in the opener in any case. The good news is that if he can get healthy and stay on the straight and narrow, the 5-9 junior can move up the depth chart with Lindsey Lamar redshirting.
