Virginia Tech's Coles Has Season-Ending Knee Injury: D.J. Coles will miss the rest of the season with a knee injury, ESPN reports.

D.J. Coles hurt injured the same knee he had offseason surgery on in Monday's win over Georgia Tech. He'll likely receiver a medical redshirt.

| D.J. Coles is a player who should be owned in ACC-only leagues this year, and he's a decent bet to become relevant in a variety of other formats, too. He caught 36 passes for 480 yards and three touchdowns last year despite serving as Virginia Tech's third receiver, and he'll see many more targets in 2012 now that last year's top two receivers for the Hokies - Danny Coale and Jarrett Boykin - are gone after combining for 121 catches. Marcus Davis has more upside than Coles, but Coles could turn out to be the better option in PPR formats. (Updated 6/4/13) |
