| Mitch Ewald enters his junior season as the third-year starter at kicker. He has been an efficient kicker in his career, but the Hoosiers have never really given him an opportunity to excel, as the offense just doesn't give him an overwhelming amount of opportunities to kick. He converted 13 of his 16 field goal attempts last season (81.3 percent) and performed similarly as a freshman, converting 16 of 19 field goal attempts (84.2 percent). If the Indiana offense picks up in 2012, Ewald's value increases. If not, he is probably just an accurate kicker that doesn't get many opportunities. (Updated 8/30/12) |
