It's a stunningly low output for Perry Jones against Miami's 121st ranked rush defense. Jones has just one 100-yard game this season, and it's simply been a dreadful senior campaign.

| Perry Jones was the Cavaliers' leading rusher last season and should carry that same role into his senior season. Jones is the rare combination of both an above-average runner and an above-average receiver. His five yards per carry and five rushing touchdowns are even more impressive when you add on his 48 receptions and 10.5 yards per catch. The issue with Jones' fantasy value is that Virginia has two other talented runners in Kevin Parks and Clifton Richardson, with the former in particularly hogging a lot of the goal-line production in 2011. Jones' value is universally significant in PPR leagues, but otherwise he's primarily a deep league and ACC-only league option. (Updated 8/30/12) |
