After a hot start to the season John Hubert was unable to find much success even with the help of dual-threat quarterback Colin Klein. He finishes his junior season with 947 yards rushing and 15 touchdowns.

| The Wildcats ran the ball like crazy in 2011, averaging 46.6 carries per game. However, most of that was with quarterback Collin Klein running for 1,141 yards and 27 touchdowns on 317 carries. John Hubert is the leading rusher of all the Wildcat running backs, but he only averaged 15.3 carries per game last season and most of his carries tend to come between the 20 yard lines, as the ball stays in Klein's hands inside the red zone. Hubert's role in 2012 will be similar with Klein back. Don't expect many touchdowns or an outrageous amount of carries. (Updated 8/30/12) |
