| A transfer from Texas Tech, Jacob Karam is available to play for Memphis right away. He almost never saw the field with the Red Raiders and threw just 18 passes, but his good pedigree as a former high recruit makes him a nice on-paper fit for Memphis' Conference-USA schedule. He has a dual-threat background that should lend itself to good rushing production, and he has a good wideout tandem in Kevin Wright and Marcus Rucker.
