| Jeff Woody was the Cyclones' third-leading rusher in 2011, posting 380 rushing yards and six touchdowns on 4.2 yards per carry. Iowa State is a team that loves to run the ball, averaging 41.3 rushing attempts per game last season, but that does not mean that Woody will be relevant outside of Big-12-only leagues in 2012. Five Cyclones, including Woody, averaged seven or more carries per game last season. With that sort of distribution and with James White ahead of him on the depth chart, Woody's carry total may not go up that much in 2012. (Updated 8/30/12) |
