Washington's Price Finishes Junior Season in Disappointing Fashion: Keith Price completed 20-of-39 passing for 242 yards, a touchdown and two interceptions Saturday as Washington fell to Boise State 28-26 in the 2012 Maaco Bowl in Las Vegas.

Keith Price earned a second score on the day thanks to a seven run scamper into the end zone just before halftime, but otherwise ended his junior season as the Huskies' starter under center with yet another disappointing performance, this time against an 11-2 Boise State squad in the Maaco Bowl. Price finishes the 2012 season having passed for 2728 yards and 19 touchdowns, but also adding 13 interceptions to his overall totals.

| Washington was fairly run-heavy in 2011 and so Keith Price's pass attempt volume (27.8 per game) was fairly limited, but he posted a gigantic touchdown total (33) that made him one of the nation's best quarterbacks anyway. He won't throw 33 touchdowns on just 362 pass attempts this year, though, so his owners should prepare for a decline - or Washington should call more pass plays. With the loss of star running back Chris Polk but the emergence of receivers like Kasen Williams, James Johnson and Austin Seferian-Jenkins, a more pass-heavy look just might be in store for Price in 2012.
