On fourth and one with just eight seconds left coach Bob Stoops called on Blake Bell to pick up at least the first down and it worked. Bell broke several tackles and bulldozed his way in for six. Bell finishes the regular season with 11 rushing touchdowns.

| Blake Bell is only a rushing specialist, but that lead to a quality 2011 season, as he scored an unusually large number of touchdowns (13) on a small number of rushing attempts (44). He could continue to serve as Oklahoma's goal-line running specialist, in which case he should be a good bet to surpass double-digit rushing touchdowns again. (Updated 8/30/12) |
