Brandon Bourbon has just five carries this season as he's fallen down on the depth chart.

| Brandon Bourbon didn't play much as a freshman last season, but actually led the Jayhawks in yards per carry, averaging 6.8 yards per rush. He did, however, only run for 190 yards on the season, fourth on the team. Kansas has four notable running backs right now in Bourbon, Marquis Jackson, Tony Pierson, and James Sims and no one really knows how new coach Charlie Weis will juggle those guys. Because of that, Bourbon could end up with more playing time than he had last year, but he could also end up riding the pine. (Updated 8/30/12) |
