Nick Griffin played in place of LaDarius Perkins, who sat out with a quadriceps injury. Griffin will be worth SEC-only league consideration if Perkins sits out against Arkansas.

| Nick Griffin barely saw the field in his freshman year as a Bulldog, but that should change as he enters year two. Griffin will have a chance to compete with fellow running back LaDarius Perkins for the starting spot, but a fairly even rotation between the two seems likely for the most part. Perkins is a big-play threat with pass-catching skills, while Griffin is a bigger runner than Perkins who projects as the team's primary between-the-tackles and goal-line back. The fantasy value of the two should be relatively even, with their utility muted outside of deep and SEC-only leagues. (Updated 8/30/12) |
