| With the Bulls' top three leading rushers from last season now gone, Coach Willie Taggart will need to look elsewhere to find production on the ground. Taggart stated that both Marcus Shaw and Pierre have the potential to be productive backs in his run-heavy system. He said the two would be "good changeup-type of guys," potentially indicating he intends to distribute carries between both. Shaw ran for 248 yards on 51 carries last season - good for fourth on the team. Pierre redshirted in 2012 after transferring from a junior college. Both backs are similar in stature and weight and could provide a solid one-two punch for South Florida in 2013. (Updated 6/11/13) |
