| Fantasy Analysis |
Le'Veon Bell is a big runner who should measure in around 6-foot-1, 240 pounds, possessing a build and a lean not dissimilar to that of LeGarrette Blount. Bell is a lot more reliable and versatile, however, showing an ability to stay on the field for passing downs. The downside is Bell seems to lack speed, perhaps to the point that he might struggle to stay in the 4.6-second range in the 40-yard dash. We have to believe that issue will keep him out of the first two rounds, making his likely landing spot somewhere in the third or fourth round. Despite his size and lack of speed, Bell shows surprising balance and wiggle for such a big runner, showing an ability to slip through traffic. Bell ran for 3,346 yards (4.99 YPC) and 33 touchdowns in 40 games at Michigan State. (Updated 1/9/13). |
