| Fantasy Analysis |
Along with his sole reception, James White had six totes for 42 yards (7.0 YPC), providing a nice complement to No. 1 back Montee Ball. While he is not close to matching the output from his first two years in Madison, his three total touchdowns and 4.6 YPC has certainly proved worthy in Big Ten-only leagues.

| The departure of Bret Bielema and his coaching staff would have been a concern for James White's fantasy value in most scenarios, but luckily for White, Wisconsin replaced Bielema with former Utah State coach Gary Andersen, whose Aggie offenses routinely provided some of the nation's most productive running backs in recent years, most notably Kerwynn Williams and Robert Turbin. Despite outproducing both of them at various points, White has patiently waited behind Montee Ball and John Clay for his chance to start, totaling 2,571 yards and 32 touchdowns as an off-the-bench runner. Those are numbers a lot of starters wish they could post, so fireworks should be expected from White now that he won't be playing off the bench. (Updated 6/11/13) |
