A disappointing end to a bounceback second half for Devonta Freeman. He finishes 2012 with 660 yards and eight touchdowns for the second consecutive year, and is the best guess to be the lead back in Tallahassee come 2013.

| Devonta Freeman was Florida State's top runner in 2011 and should head into 2012 with the same distinction after running for 579 yards (4.8 YPC) and eight touchdowns as a freshman last year. His upside appears limited, however, because Florida State has a loaded backfield, with 2012 recruit Mario Pender in particularly looking like a threat to steal carries. Freeman needs to be owned in ACC-only leagues, but he's only arguably worth owning outside of them. (Updated 8/30/12) |
