| Fantasy Analysis |
Gary Nova had a rough game and struggled with accuracy. In addition to his one interception, he had three passes dropped by Hokie defenders. The sophomore completed less than half of his passes in his last three games - all Scarlet Knight losses. It will be interesting to see if coach Kurt Flood opens the quarterback competition with Chas Dodd again in the offseason.

| Gary Nova split time at quarterback with Chas Dodd in 2011. While neither was particularly impressive under center, Nova actually had more touchdowns (11) and averaged more yards per attempt (6.8) than his counterpart. He also threw for 1,553 yards while completing a mere 51.1 percent of his passes. Nova doesn't provide any sort of production on the ground, but he has good receivers and was named starter in August.
