USC's Lee Finishes Top Trojans' WR Despite Being Held to 41 Yards: Marqise Lee took six receptions for 41 yards as the Trojans' top receiver Monday as Southern California fell to Georgia Tech 21-7 at the 2012 Sun Bowl in El Paso, Texas.

With Max Wittek replacing Matt Barkley under center for Monday's game, Marqise Lee was held to his second-lowest receiving performance of the year. Regardless, he ends his sophomore campaign second only to Terrance Williams in total yardage by a wideout in FBS in 2012 and should be regarded as the premier fantasy option as his position heading into the 2013 season.

| Robert Woods might be a bigger name, but Marqise Lee could be the top USC receiver in 2012. He was exceptional as a true freshman last year, finishing with 73 catches for 1,143 yards and 11 touchdowns, including 40 catches for 609 yards and six touchdowns in the final four weeks of the year. With so much attention on Woods, Lee will almost certainly carry his momentum into 2012 and get off to a fast start. (Updated 8/30/12) |
