Ricky Lloyd lasted about two and a half quarters, before he was pulled in favor of Anthony Alford, who was allowed to try his hand against a Boise State defense that never budged. Until Lloyd improves his accuracy as a passer, he should be avoided in most leagues.

| Ricky Lloyd played off the bench behind Arsenio Favor and Anthony Alford in 2012, but both of them are gone, and the remaining competition is weak. Former Oklahoma State offensive coordinator Todd Monken takes over as head coach and he is looking for Lloyd to be a Brandon Weeden-like presence in the offense.
