He did the bulk of his damage on a 44-yard scamper, and made the most of his opportunity with Wes Brown sidelined. If Brown remains out, it's hard to see Brandon Ross finding much room against Florida State this Saturday.

| Brandon Ross was the Terps' leading rusher in 2012, and closed the season with two 100 yard games in his final three outings. His spring left nothing to be desired, and Ross could be in for a breakout 2013 season. That said, no Maryland running back had more than 90 carries in 2012, and with Albert Reid and Wes Brown in the picture, Ross may simply be a lead of a committee. (Updated 6/11/13) |
