Joe Bergeron had 13 rushing touchdowns by Halloween, but only found the end zone once after. The emergence up freshman stud Jonathan Gray is going to make it hard for Bergeron to have much fantasy relevance in 2013, unless Texas continues to use him in goal line situations.

| Texas will enter the season with three outstanding options at running back. Last season, freshman Johnathan Gray (701 yards, three touchdowns) and sophomore Joe Bergeron (567 yards, 16 touchdowns) split carries, with Malcolm Brown (324 yards, four touchdowns) working his way into the fold at times. It remains to be seen which of the three, if any, will emerge as the primary ball-carrier in 2013. Both Gray and Brown were very highly-touted recruits, but Bergeron has shown he is capable of shouldering the load. (Updated 6/11/13) |
