Clifton Richardson was plagued by injury as a sophomore, but this is a blow to the Cavaliers' backfield. He represented the only big, power back the team had. Kevin Parks value gets a nice bump as he'll likely get as many carries as he can handle. At least until top recruit Taquan Mizzell gets up to speed.

| Clifton Richardson looks like a talented runner for Virginia after averaging 5.1 yards per carry while running for 366 yards and two touchdowns last year, but his fantasy value is quite limited. Perry Jones and Kevin Parks are the top Virginia runners, and the two of them combined for over 1,600 yards and 14 touchdowns on the ground last year. Just keep an eye on Richardson in case Parks or Jones get hurt. (Updated 8/30/12) |
