| Fantasy Analysis |
Malcolm Crockett managed 45 yards on 11 carries, while Desmond Brown had 90 yards on 18 totes. Isaac Bennett is the best bet to lead this backfield, at least early in 2013, and it's a unit that consistently produces useful rushers. (Updated 4/15/13). |
| Rushel Shell was a high-ranking 2012 running back recruit, but Isaac Bennett heads into the fall firmly established as Pittsburgh's top backup after Ray Graham. Bennett received very good reviews for his spring performances and was generally promising in 2011, running for 237 yards (4.1 YPC) and two touchdowns in the final five weeks of the year. He will be a must-own if Graham (knee) misses any time, but even if Graham plays Bennett should probably be owned in Big East-only leagues. (Updated 8/30/12) |
