Former UF QB Brissett Transfering to N.C. State: Jacoby Brissett will enroll at North Carolina State for the spring semester, and be eligible to play in the 2014 season, the Palm Beach Post reports.

Jacoby Brissett fell behind Jeff Driskel at Florida, and should provide a nice boost to the 'Pack offense when eligible.

| Jacoby Brissett spent his freshman season as one of the backups to 2011 starter John Brantley. He comes into this season, however, with a chance to win the starting job. To do that, he will have to beat out fellow sophomore Jeff Driskel, who also backed up Brantley last season. Driskel is known as more of a running quarterback while Brissett has a reputation for being more of a pocket passer. Neither, however, really shined in limited playing time last year as both Brissett and Driskel failed to complete half of their passes. (Updated 6/4/13) |
