| Fantasy Analysis |
The Bulldogs love the speed and athleticism of the freshman out of Redwood High in Visalia. Due to some immaturity in the pass-blocking game and teammate Robbie Rouse's stronghold on the running back position, Fresno State believes he would be best utilized in the passing game. Whether it's lining up as a back or in the slot, they feel Dillon Root could be a nightmare for opposing defenses. With the Bulldogs changing to a spread offense in 2012, Root may become fantasy-worthy.
