Mario Pender's severe injury was determined to need surgery, and the freshman figures to redshirt. It's a pretty big blow despite the depth FSU has in the backfield. Dynasty leaguers who have large rosters can still take a chance on Pender, at a discounted rate, but it's anyone's guess as to how he'll respond come next April.
