Cincinnati Frosh Green May Get More Carries: Tion Green may see more carries as the season progresses, the USA Today reports. The true freshman may get a look on special teams as well.

Tion Green got an extended look three weeks ago in the blowout win against Miami (OH) with 11 carries and 37 yards with a touchdown. The coaching staff likes the way that Green finishes off runs. With starter George Winn a senior, Green may be the running back of the future for the Bearcats.

| Ralph David Abernathy is expected to serve as Cincinnati's top running back this year, but RDA is a very small runner who probably can't handle the workhorse role held by George Winn last year. That leaves Tion Green as the best candidate to pick up the between-the-tackles and short-yardage slack, and maybe even the goal-line running. Green is worth a pick in American-only leagues for sure.
