News: A&M allowed 28 points against Sam Houston State on Saturday.
Analysis: The Aggies didn't do anything of note Saturday, giving up more points than they should have while just intercepting one pass. They're probably not worth consideration outside of SEC-only leagues against Missouri.
News: Texas A&M allowed 24 points against Alabama on Saturday.
Analysis: The Aggies added two sacks, a fumble recovery and two interceptions. They should be a decent option against Sam Houston State.
News: Texas A&M allowed 13 points against Mississippi State on Saturday.
Analysis: The Aggies dominated throughout this one, adding a sack and an interception. We can't recommend them against the Crimson Tide, however.
News: Texas A&M allowed 21 points against Auburn on Saturday.
Analysis: The Aggies sacked Auburn five times, but that was perhaps largely due to the poor pocket presence of Auburn's quarterbacks. They're a risky start against Mississippi State.
News: Texas A&M allowed 24 points against LSU on Saturday.
Analysis: The defense actually played tough, but the LSU defense was better and forced the A&M defense to play more snaps than it could handle. They're not a terrible option against Auburn, though you could probably do better.
News: Texas A&M allowed 57 points against Louisiana Tech on Saturday.
Analysis: Tech has a strong offense, but that's still an ugly showing. We don't recommend A&M in any format right now.
News: Texas A&M starting defensive end Jonathan Mathis banged his head and suffered a concussion during Monday's scrimmage.
Analysis: Coach Mike Sherman said Mathis would be back eventually, but also mentioned that it wasn't anything to take lightly. Mathis started seven games last season and recorded 3.5 tackles for a loss. He will take over full time this season.
News: Texas A&M allowed 392 yards of offense in Saturday's 33-19 win over Oklahoma.
Analysis: OU was playing from behind so the Sooners were going to get their yards. The most impressive stat from this game was that the Aggies held OU's rushing attack to just 72 yards.
News: Texas A&M held Kansas to just 331 yards and forced two turnovers in Saturday's 45-10 win over Kansas.
Analysis: Kansas is terrible this season, so don't read too much into this stellar play.
News: Texas A&M allowed 361 yards through the air while not forcing a turnover in Saturday's 30-9 loss to Missouri.
Analysis: Missouri quarterback Blaine Gabbert was money against this slouch of a defense, completing 31-of-47 passes for 361 yards and three touchdowns. This defense can't seem to get any turnovers and lack the big-play ability on special teams to help out fantasy owners.
News: Texas A&M allowed 442 yards of total offense, including 310 through the air and forced two turnovers in Saturday's 24-17 loss to Arkansas.
Analysis: The Aggies defense didn't play terrible, allowing just 24 points to a high-powered Arkansas team. They also intercepted Ryan Mallett, but he did throw three touchdowns on the Aggies secondary. Texas A&M has been a teeter-totter unit this season. Proceed with caution.
News:Analysis: Texas A&M allowed 38 points against Oklahoma State Thursday while totaling one sack, two interceptions and a fumble recovery. Don't waste your time with these guys.
News: The Aggies allowed only 232 total yards and forced a turnover in Saturday's close call (27-20 win) over FIU.
Analysis: Overcoming five Aggies turnovers was a lot for the defense to uphold, but they got it done thanks to just 3-of-18 in third-down conversions against FIU. They will be OK, especially in the ferocious atmosphere of Kyle Field.
A&M D Holds Louisiana Tech to 269 Yards in Victory
News:Analysis: The Aggies also forced two fumbles and two interceptions by the Bulldogs en route to allowing 16 points for the game. The cupcake fest continues next week for A&M as they face Florida International.
News: The Aggies allowed just 1 touchdown and 266 yards of total offense against Stephen F. Austin Saturday.
Analysis: Dustin Harris picked off a pass and ran it back 38 yards for a touchdown and the Aggies had just one other turnover in the game. The Aggies also allowed just 3 third-down conversions. Another buying point for the Aggie D? Allowing just 31 yards rushing.
News: Texas A&M's defense will be charged with slowing Texas' second-ranked scoring offense on Thursday.
Analysis: The Aggies will certainly have their hands full against an extremely potent Longhorn offense. We wouldn't expect them to have much luck.
