Analysis:George Winn had a long run in the Liberty Bowl last year to open some eyes. He led the Big East in rushing as a senior with 1334 yards and 13 touchdowns. Winn had six 100-yard games.
News:George Winn had 22 carries for 70 yards and a touchdown Saturday against Connecticut. He added three receptions for 55 yards.
Analysis: The Big East's leading rusher finished the regular season with 1204 yards and 12 touchdowns. The game against the Huskies was the first time this season in which he did not score either zero or multiple touchdowns.

Analysis:George Winn's touchdowns come in bunches. He has three multi-touchdown games this season and five games in which he has not scored. Winn has rushed for 100 yards four times this season and has 897 rushing yards on the season.
Cincinnati's Winn Bowls Over Louisville for 125 Yards

Analysis:George Winn was able to consistently burst through the line and get into the secondary. He had his third 100-yard game of the season.

Analysis:George Winn has been a solid producer of rushing yards for the Bearcats this season. He is up to 607 yards, but has only scored touchdowns in two games. When Winn does score, he scores twice.

Analysis:George Winn ran straight up the middle on the first play and was not even touched. Kudos to the Bearcat offensive line. He added a nine-yard scoring run in the third quarter. Winn had just 11 carries and he should be in for some even bigger games in 2012.

Analysis:George Winn is stepping into some large shoes, those of Isaiah Pead, who is now on the St. Louis Rams. The senior averaged 5.5 yards in 40 carries last season, but should handle the majority of the carries for the Bearcats. He makes for an excellent second tier running back for fantasy rosters.
