Analysis: This was speculated on back in December, so it's no shocker as Newsome was an odd-man-out in the race to start. What is surprising, is the lack of quarterback depth in Happy Valley. Paul Jones is ineligible, leaving Matt McGloin and Robert Bolden as viable starters. And Bolden hasn't exactly been happy as a clam during his stint.
News: Heading into this season, Penn State wide receiver Derek Moye is more concerned with the performance of other receivers than himself. Moye will most certainly be the top target for either Matt McGloin or Robert Bolden, but he says to watch out for Curtis Drake, Devon Smith, and Justin Brown.

Analysis: We'd have to think this is Robert Bolden's job when he's ready to go from the head injury he suffered. Even if McGloin is still starter when Penn State faces Northwestern, McGloin won't warrant consideration outside of Big Ten-only leagues.
