News: Every week ts seems like a new Red Wolf receiver is the star of the show, and this week it was Taylor Stockemer. The lanky receiver hauled in four passes for 85 yards and two scores against Louisiana.
Analysis: With Josh Jarboe and Dwayne Frampton also vying for touches, it is best to avoid all Arkansas State receivers as we just never know who will catch the eye of Ryan Aplin from week to week.
News: Arkansas State has one of the best receiving corps in their conference and it showed against North Texas as threw different receivers caught touchdowns. Josh Jarboe led the team with 96 receiving yards while Taylor Stockemer, Allen Muse, and Dwayne Frampton all caught scoring passes.

News: Last year with Hugh Freeze calling the plays, the Arkansas State Red Wolves set school records in total offense with nearly 5,000 yards from scrimmage. This year Freeze is the head coach and the strength of the team is the amount of playmakers on offense. It all starts with the dual-threat abilities of quarterback Ryan Aplin but includes the speedy Dwayne Frampton and big targets Taylor Stockemer and Allen Muse.
Analysis: Aplin should be in for another big year as well as Frampton. Frampton had 69 catches in his first season with the Red Wolves and was a threat out of the Wildcat formation. The biggest breakout candidate is Muse who is a big, strong receiver in the mold of Julio Jones but who needs to be more consistent catching the ball.

Analysis: Stockemer certainly made his lone reception count but you can't bank on those kind of performances every week. The Red Wolves face the Warhawks of Louisiana-Monroe next week.
