News: Louisiana-Monroe wide receiver Tavarese Maye is listed as questionable for this weekend's game against Louisiana as he's dealing with an undisclosed injury.
Analysis: Maye is the team's top deep threat and second-leading receiver so they will need Brent Leonard and Colby Harper to step it up against the Ragin' Cajuns.
News: So it appears that there is no favorite receiver for Louisiana-Monroe quarterback Kolton Browning as it was not Tavarese Maye or Brent Leonard who led the receiving corps this weekend. Colby Harper led the charge with eight catches for 110 yards and a score.
Analysis: Harper is only a freshman so he bears paying some attention to, but it is probably best to avoid the ULM receivers as any one of them could be the hot hand for the week.
News: It seems like every week there is a new top receiver for Louisiana-Monroe with Tavarese Maye taking top honors against Troy. Maye had seven catches for 161 yards and a score against the Trojans.
Analysis: Part of the reason that there are so many different guys who perform well for the Warhawks is that they have been platooning quarterbacks. When Cody Wells is in, his favorite target is Brent Leonard while Maye appears to be the go-to guy for Kolton Browning.
News: Louisiana-Monroe got a surprise performance from receiver Tavarese Maye against Grambling State, as the sophomore caught eight passes for 125 yards and a touchdown.
Analysis: The Warhawks have talent on offense but bear in mind this breakout performance was against Grambling State. Outside of Luther Ambrose (and I am not sure how long you will want to keep him) there is little established fantasy value on this team.
News: Maye had seven receptions for 146 yards and a touchdown in Saturday's 42-35 loss to Florida International.
Analysis: Maye has now scored three times over his last two games, and had season-highs in receptions and yardage. Despite his best day of the year, Maye must be avoided against one of the better defenses in the nation in a road tilt at LSU.
News: Maye had four receptions for 77 yards and a touchdown and rushed twice for 44 yards and a second score in Saturday's 28-14 win over Troy.
Analysis: Consider his 43-yard touchdown run an anomaly and given the fact that he averages less than four receptions per game, Maye is to be avoided in fantasy lineups.
News: Maye had five receptions for 31 yards in Saturday's 35-30 win over Western Kentucky.
Analysis: Maye had a decent-game, but with only one score on the season he doesn't deserve a fantasy spot.
News: Maye had six receptions for 46 yards in Saturday's 52-3 loss to Auburn.
Analysis: Maye had a season-high in receptions for the season, but he doesn't see enough action to warrant a spot in your lineup.
News: Maye had three receptions for 54 yards and a touchdown in Saturday's 21-20 win over Southeastern Louisiana.
Analysis: Maye scored for the first time all season, but is averaging 26 yards and less than three receptions per game. Louisiana-Monroe travels to Auburn next week.
