Analysis:Shaquelle Evans finishes his junior season with a team-leading 60 receptions for 877 yards, but ended up finding end zone only three times all season. He could prove explosive in 2013 given a full season proving himself a reliable target for Brett Hundley, but will have to do more in the red zone to garner the interest of fantasy owners outside of Pac-12 only leagues.

UCLA's Evans Explodes Against Oregon State Secondary

Analysis:Shaquelle Evans suddenly caught fire as quarterback Brett Hundley's home-run hitting target in Saturday's game, but hadn't done much in the three other starts he's made for UCLA thus far this season. Keep an eye on the junior, a transfer from Notre Dame, to see whether his connection with Hundley Saturday was a mere flash in the pan or signs of big things to come.
News: Sources at UCLA are reporting that Evans will be leaving Notre Dame in order to join the Bruins, the South Bend Tribune reports.
Analysis: Evans is from Inglewood, California, so to see him head back west isn't that surprising. What may catch some off-guard, however, is that Evans is looking at transferring to UCLA and not USC - the program he'd originally provided a soft verbal commitment to as a senior in high school. Should the transfer go through - and sources at UCLA say its a "done deal" - look for Evans to greatly enhance the wide receiver position for the Bruins starting in 2011, especially given he was rated the No. 4 wideout for the Class of 2009.
News: Evans, a 6-1, 205-pound wideout for Notre Dame, has requested and been rewarded a release from the university and will transfer away from South Bend, ESPN.com reports.
Analysis: Evans, who grabbed seven passes for 61 yards in 2009, was not listed on the most recent depth chart released by head coach Brian Kelly, so no major loss here for the Irish. Says Kelly, "I can only assume that playing time was a factor. This was not a two-way conversation. This was a one-way conversation . . . . I'm disappointed."
