SDSU's Kazee Gets the Carries But Not the Touchdowns
News:Walter Kazee carried the ball a team-high 23 times for 106 yards in Saturday's 28-9 win over Air Force.
Analysis:Walter Kazee received eight more carries than teammate Adam Muema, but it was Muema who scored two touchdowns. San Diego State loves to run the ball, so Kazee is worth an add against bad run defenses. The Aztecs are on a bye next week, so wait to add him to your line-up.
News:Walter Kazee carried the ball 12 times for 37 yards and a touchdown in a 21-19 win over Boise State on Saturday.
Analysis:Walter Kazee's carry totals returned to normal this week as teammate Adam Muema received double the amount of carries. With a bad Air Force run defense up next, Kazee is worth a start if you're in dire need of a running back for the week.
News:Walter Kazee received 21 carries and rushed for 105 yards and a touchdown in a 24-14 win over UNLV on Saturday.
Analysis:Walter Kazee continues to take advantage of the opportunities given to him which appear to be increasing from week-to-week. Over the past couple of weeks, he and teammate Adam Muema are receiving a similar amount of carries. Kazee is on the rise, but he has a tough match-up with Boise State next week.
SDSU's Kazee Gets Back to the End-Zone for First Time in Four Weeks
News:Walter Kazee received a team-high 15 carries and rushed for 58 yards and a touchdown in a thrilling 39-38 overtime win against Nevada on Saturday.
Analysis:Walter Kazee's 15 carries were the most he's received since getting 17 against San Jose State four weeks ago. Coincidentally or maybe not, that was also the last time he had a touchdown. With the quarterback situation in flux, Kazee could get more looks. He's worth a look in MWC-only or deeper leagues.

News:Walter Kazee rushed for 95 yards on 14 carries in a 38-14 win over Colorado State on Saturday.

News:Walter Kazee had 13 carries for 30 yards in a 52-40 loss to Fresno State on Saturday.

News:Walter Kazee received seven carries which he converted into 51 yards and two touchdowns in a 42-7 drubbing of Army.
Analysis: While Walter Kazee received eight less carries than teammate Adam Muema, he scored one more touchdown and had more yards per carry. Keep an eye on Kazee to see if he eclipses Muema in San Diego State's run-game.
News: San Diego State starting running back Ronnie Hillman sprained his ankle against Colorado State on Saturday. To make matters worse, back up Walter Kazee sprained his right knee and is out for the season.
Analysis: Hillman's status against Boise State won't be known until later in the week. Fantasy owners should look for a replacement as he probably won't be 100 percent.
News:Ronnie Hillman kept his good performances of late rolling with 141 yards on 29 carries and one score in the win over New Mexico.
Analysis: Strange to think that Walter Kazee poached three scores from Hillman, including the game's first two. Fortunately, one of the nation's best running backs delivered in the end.
News: San Diego State running back Ronnie Hillman may have had 189 yards rushing in the season opener, but he feels he left a lot of yards out there. Hillman suffered from leg cramps throughout the game and had to come out multiple times. In his stead, Walter Kazee had 15 rushes for 82 yards.
Analysis: Hillman said he "shouldn't have to leave the game for cramps or anything." Hillman said he felt like he let his team down to a certain extent and said he'll do the things necessary to stay on the field in the future. Hillman is being a bit tough on himself, but it gives you a glimpse into the drive that has made him one of the nation's best.
News: San Diego State got a little help in the running game as Walter Kazee delivered 89 yards on the ground for the Aztecs. He also caught one pass in the win.
Analysis: With 16 total touches (15 rush, 1 pass), Kazee certainly got quality action in the game, though he got a decent action. It will be interesting to see if he continues to get touches in the 10 to 15 a game range or if this was a product of playing Cal-Poly. If he does, he will have a game or two more like this one.

Analysis: Kazee should have a nice season, but isn't likely to have any fantasy value thanks to the emergence of Ronnie Hillman.
Kazee Makes an Impact in San Diego State's Opening Win
News: Kazee finished with six carries for 74 yards and a touchdown in San Diego State's rout Saturday.

Analysis: Kazee had his second-highest rushing total in a game this season. His fantasy value remains limited.

News: Kazee had nine carries for 28 yards and two receptions for 33 yards in San Diego St.'s loss to BYU on Saturday.
Analysis: Kazee topped the 100-yard mark for the first time in Week 6, but he was held in check by the BYU defense. San Diego St.'s running back situation is a bit of a mess right now, so it's probably best to avoid any Aztec running back until one of them secures the starting spot and becomes a consistent producer.
News: Kazee had 22 carries for 101 yards and one touchdown as San Diego State took care of business against New Mexico State 34-17.
Analysis: Kazee showed no lingering effects of the concussion injury he suffered that kept him out of San Diego Stae's game against Air Force last week. He responded by putting up career highs in carries, yards, and touchdowns.
News: Head coach Brady Hoke told reporters Monday that he expects to have Kazee back at tailback when SDSU takes on New Mexico State at home this upcoming Saturday, the San Diego Union-Tribune reports.
Analysis: Kazee did not travel with the team to play Air Force this past Saturday due to a concussion suffered in practice last week.

Analysis: Kazee did not have much of an impact in his first collegiate game.
