News:Marcus Lucas had four grabs for 54 yards against Vandy on Saturday.
Analysis: The injury to James Franklin (knee) certainly does not help Marcus Lucas's value moving forward. Facing Alabama next week doesn't either.

Analysis:Marcus Lucas was the favorite target for QB James Franklin on Saturday, but with so many talented receivers on the roster, it's tough to pinpoint who will lead the way each week for the Tigers.
News:Marcus Lucas grabbed three balls for 30 yards against Southeastern Louisiana on Saturday.
Analysis:Marcus Lucas wasn't needed much in the blowout win, but will have to fend off TJ Moe, L'Damian Washington and freshman sensation Dorial Green-Beckham for looks moving forward.
News: Missouri's number one receiver T.J. Moe proved to help out rookie starting quarterback James Franklin quite a bit as he reeled in six catches for 56 yards, but one of the nation's top tight ends Michael Egnew only put up 12 receiving yards against Miami (OH).
Analysis: Many young quarterbacks will turn to their tight end as a security blanket, but that wasn't the case on Saturday as Egnew was quiet. Moe's numbers went as good as many fantasy owners would expect either, mostly due to Franklin's struggles throwing down field, and Marcus Lucas' only grab was a ten yard touchdown reception to begin the fourth quarter.
News: Missouri starting wide receiver Jerrell Jackson is listed as doubtful for Saturday's opener against Miami (OH) because of a pulled hamstring.
Analysis: With Jackson likely out, Marcus Lucas would make his first career start, which is a product of his impressive fall workout performance. The Tigers don't want to risk aggravating Jackson's hamstring further, especially against an opponent like the RedHawks.
News: Missouri wide receiver L'Damian Washington has put together some solid practices lately. He's battling for perhaps a fifth or sixth spot in the rotation with backups Brandon Gerau and Marcus Lucas already appearing to have a spot solidified.
Analysis: The wide receiver competition has been tight during fall practices, so perhaps once Washington earns a role, he could work his way up the depth chart as the season goes on. Otherwise, the news isn't all that significant, but it's nice to see some spots on the depth chart set in stone.
