Moe's numbers went as good as many fantasy owners would expect either, mostly due to Franklin's struggles throwing down field, and Marcus Lucas' only grab was a ten yard touchdown reception to begin the fourth quarter.
News: Missouri starting wide receiver Jerrell Jackson is listed as doubtful for Saturday's opener against Miami (OH) because of a pulled hamstring.
Analysis: With Jackson likely out, Marcus Lucas would make his first career start, which is a product of his impressive fall workout performance. The Tigers don't want to risk aggravating Jackson's hamstring further, especially against an opponent like the RedHawks.
News: Missouri wide receiver L'Damian Washington has put together some solid practices lately. He's battling for perhaps a fifth or sixth spot in the rotation with backups Brandon Gerau and Marcus Lucas already appearing to have a spot solidified.
Analysis: The wide receiver competition has been tight during fall practices, so perhaps once Washington earns a role, he could work his way up the depth chart as the season goes on. Otherwise, the news isn't all that significant, but it's nice to see some spots on the depth chart set in stone.
